Resizing images

I have taken a photograph of a beautiful gift from T2 :)

I needed to note the original image size and pixel dimensions, then note the changed file size when compressed for web.


Original dimensions - 2.4 MB  - 4320 × 3240

Web compression - 2.1 MB at 60 quality



I have set this image not to the original size, as the image becomes too big on my blog page to post.

Resized for web

This time, I resized the pixel dimensions (brought it down too 600 by 450) to make the file size even smaller and therefore faster to load online.


Changed dimensions - 600 × 450
